About the role
As a Technical Project Manager at Gideon, you will own the predictable, high-quality delivery of complex robotics solutions for Gideon’s most important customers by translating customer commitments into executable technical plans and driving cross-functional execution to completion.. Your role combines technical understanding, strong delivery ownership, process excellence, and cross-functional coordination, with a strong focus on execution and continuous improvement in an agile startup environment.
What this role is not: It is not a people management role and does not directly build engineering capabilities — instead, you will drive results by influencing and aligning teams. - Plan, track, and coordinate project execution of all technical aspects of high complexity projects across software, hardware, systems, and QA teams

- Communicate with our sales and customer success owning customer relationship and other operational aspects
- Translate customer commitments and contractual requirements into executable technical project plans
- Deliver against contractural milestones while managing scope changes, trade-offs and expectation resets
- Own internal escalation process when commitments are at risk
- Monitor progress, milestones, timelines, and budgets; proactively manage risks and dependencies
- Identify blockers and drive resolution together with engineering and product teams
- Align internal stakeholders (engineering, product, operations) around delivery goals and priorities
- Ensure clear communication and transparency toward both internal teams and the customer
- Support deployment, commissioning, and handover of solutions into customer environments
- Continuously improve delivery processes and execution practices
- Work with our implementation and customer success teams as the technical projects move from development to a stable solution to transfer the technical ownership
Your area of expertise:
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management or leading cross-functional product development projects with BSc or MSc in an Engineering discipline
- Strong understanding of project management processes, artifacts, and tools (PMP or similar certification is a plus)
- Experience working in agile or lean product development environments Experience with combined hardware and software product development and exposure to supply chain, production, QA/QC workflows is a strong plus
- Ability to balance big-picture delivery goals with strong attention to detail Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and judgment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to achieve results without direct reporting authority
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Bonus points:
- Experience with mobile robotics, automation, AI, or embedded systems
