About the role
As a Quality Control Engineer, you will support quality control activities throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, helping ensure our products meet internal and industry quality standards before they reach customers.
In this role, you will perform product and prototype testing to verify durability, functionality, and overall performance. You will help identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during manufacturing or testing, working closely with our manufacturing engineer and assembly technicians to ensure products meet quality requirements before shipment.
You will assist with inspections of mechanical and electrical assemblies, execute in-manufacturing checklists, and support final product testing to confirm systems are functioning correctly—from hardware components to software functionality. You will also perform system-level validation of robotic subsystems including sensors, safety systems, motion systems, and communication interfaces as part of the final hardware quality control process.

Responsibilities we’ll trust you with:
- Support quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process, from assembly to final product testing.
- Perform incoming goods inspection and report findings to suppliers through NCR reports.
- Perform product testing and basic troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems as part of the robot commissioning and validation process.
- Conduct quality inspections during production and on finished products using defined checklists and testing procedures.
- Execute system validation procedures including connectivity checks, sensor verification, safety system testing, and subsystem functional testing.
- Investigate quality issues and help document findings and potential solutions. Assisting with the commissioning of robotic systems when needed.
- Work closely with manufacturing engineers, R&D, and assembly technicians to support quality requirements during production.
- Participate in final product verification before customer delivery.
- Work with Linux-based systems and robotic components such as sensors, computing units, and actuators to verify proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, tests, and results.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on testing procedures and manufacturing quality processes.
Your area of expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality control, testing, system commissioning, manufacturing, or a related technical field (internships or relevant projects may also be considered).
- Basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with measurement tools, inspection techniques, and basic testing procedures.
- Hands-on experience working with electrical circuits, sensors, or electromechanical assemblies (through work, university projects, or personal projects).
- Basic knowledge of Linux environments or command-line tools (e.g., Bash) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to testing and inspection.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document testing results clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Bonus points:
- Experience with autonomous mobile robots, automation, or robotics systems.
- Interest in learning more about robotic systems and understanding how different components interact to identify potential issues.
- Exposure to industrial control systems, PLC environments, or robotics debugging tools is a plus.
