About the role
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive recruiter who thrives in dynamic environments and sees hiring as more than just filling seats — it’s about shaping the future of our company. In this hybrid role, you'll spend 70% of your time leading end-to-end recruitment and 30% enhancing onboarding and employer branding, ensuring we attract, hire, and integrate top-tier talent.
You’ll play a key role in scaling our teams in both the US and Croatia, with a strong recruitment focus on the US market. Given the distributed setup and collaboration across time zones, a flexible approach to working hours is essential to ensure an effective and seamless experience for all involved.
Responsibilities we’ll trust you with:
- Independently lead full-cycle recruitment in close collaboration with Hiring Managers — from defining roles to closing offers
- Source and attract top talent through innovative outreach and sourcing strategies, with a key focus on expanding our US-based team
- Establish and nurture partnerships with universities and local communities — especially in the US — to support early-career recruitment and talent branding
- Manage and engage candidate pipelines, ensuring qualified talent stays connected for current and future opportunities
- Represent Gideon at student fairs, recruitment events, and internship programs — acting as a true ambassador of our values and culture
- Continuously improve recruitment practices, introducing new tools and ideas to enhance process efficiency and candidate experience
- Design and deliver tailored onboarding experiences with Hiring Managers, ensuring every new Gideon feels confident, welcomed, and aligned from day one
- Own and evolve onboarding materials and feedback loops, creating a seamless, structured, and personalized ramp-up experience
- Support employer branding efforts, including event coordination and brand initiatives that connect us with future talent.
- Lead or contribute to strategic HR projects, such as student programs, hiring campaigns, and other talent initiatives
Your profile:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in recruitment or talent acquisition — bonus points if it’s within tech or robotics
- You're proactive, creative, and self-driven — constantly testing new ideas, challenging the status quo, and making things better. That’s not just a skill here — it’s core to how we work
- Proven track record of independently sourcing and hiring both technical and non-technical talent
- You understand (and have an in idea) how to build onboarding experiences that feel personal, engaging, and meaningful — because first impressions matter
- You're a clear communicator, a natural relationship builder, and always keep the candidate experience front and center
- You speak and write fluent English
- You're adaptable, positive, and fun to work with — because great energy helps us all do our best work
