Strategic Account Manager - US

About us

Gideon builds autonomous forklifts for the hardest jobs in manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing. Our flagship product, Trey, is already live in real warehouses — doing the heavy, labor-intensive work that is increasingly hard to staff and costly to get wrong. We're backed by Koch Disruptive Technologies, Toyota, and Prologis: the investors who know this industry best are the ones betting on us.

We're 100+ exceptional people across Croatia and the US — engineers, operators, and builders from all walks of life, united by team spirit, a drive to keep learning, and genuine curiosity. Together, we design and deploy robots that make some of the world's most demanding environments safer, more efficient, and more scalable.

We've built strong relationships with major enterprise customers and proven the value our technology delivers. Now we're ready to turn that foundation into repeatable, multi-site growth — and we're just getting started.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced enterprise sales professional to win new customers and grow existing accounts into strategic, scaling partnerships.

You'll lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities spanning operations, innovation, safety, continuous improvement, IT, finance, procurement, and executive leadership. That means building political maps, identifying decision-makers and champions, understanding how decisions get made, establishing differentiated value, and creating preference for Gideon.

Success here goes beyond closing the first deal. You'll help turn early deployments into strategic relationships, multi-site expansions, and long-term customer value. You'll work closely with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and other teams to deliver One Gideon to our customers.

This is a remote, US-based position requiring approximately 50–60% travel.

Responsibilities we’ll trust you with:

Enterprise selling here is less about pitching a product and more about solutioning — diagnosing a customer's operational problem and building the case, internally and externally, for how Gideon solves it.

    • Taking full ownership of your account portfolio — both accounts you inherit and net-new business you generate yourself
    • Developing accounts into strategic, scaling relationships — expanding footprint and deepening retention over time
    • Owning your pipeline end-to-end, from market research and prospecting through accurate, transparent forecasting
    • Building and maintaining a political map of each account — understanding where power, influence, and decision-making really sit
    • Working cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and other teams to deliver One Gideon to clients — acting as the customer's ambassador internally and Gideon's ambassador externally
    • Leading the full sales cycle — presentations, negotiation, and closing — while handling objections along the way
    • Proactively identifying gaps in our sales process and reporting, and driving concrete improvements rather than waiting for direction
    • Representing Gideon at exhibitions and conferences, and gathering feedback from customers and prospects to share with internal teams

What you bring:

    • Minimum 5 years of complex enterprise sales experience with a solutioning mindset
    • Knowledge of robotics, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing — rather than needing to learn it from scratch — and an understanding of how autonomous mobile robots contribute to productivity in these environments
    • A proactive, strategic mindset — comfortable operating with ambiguity and building structure where it doesn't yet exist
    • Strong communication, presentation, and professional writing skills, with the interpersonal ability to build relationships, negotiate, and network at every level
    • Experience with structured sales: pipelines, forecasting, plans, and budgets
    • Experience influencing the behavior of team members you don't manage
    • High energy, ownership, sound judgment, and a can-do attitude, with the ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across functions
