Role Overview
Revenue Marketing Manager owns Gideon’s pipeline-generating marketing motion. This role is accountable for creating qualified demand that converts into sales pipeline, in close partnership with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Revenue Operations.
You will lead marketing strategy and execution across demand generation, content, events, social media, and digital channels, while managing a Demand Generation Associate who executes top-of-funnel programs. This structure ensures you can focus on strategy, messaging, and high-impact marketing work — not just execution.
This is a hands-on role for a marketer who is comfortable owning outcomes, not just activity, in a scaling B2B environment.
Why This Role Matters?
Marketing at Gideon is a growth engine, not a support function. This role directly impacts pipeline creation, sales velocity, and market credibility — and is critical to achieving our 2026 and beyond revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Generation & Pipeline Ownership
- Own top-of-funnel demand generation strategy and execution, with accountability for MQL volume, quality, and contribution to pipeline
- Define campaign objectives, target personas, and success metrics aligned with Sales priorities
- Partner with BDRs to optimize speed-to-lead and conversion from MQL → SQL
- Partner with Revenue Operations on lead scoring, routing, attribution, and funnel analytics
- Manage and prioritize the work of the Demand Generation Associate, who executes campaign operations and lead capture
- Own Gideon’s pipeline-generating marketing motion
Events, Conferences & Field Marketing
- Own event strategy and execution (e.g., MODEX, ProMat, Automate, industry-specific conferences)
- Manage booth presence, messaging, content, logistics, and speaking opportunities
- Ensure clean lead capture and structured post-event follow-up with BDRs
- Measure and report event ROI in partnership with RevOps
Content & Market Presence
- Own the content roadmap, including case studies, customer stories, blogs, videos, whitepapers, and product updates
- Translate complex technical and operational concepts into clear, value-driven narratives
- Ensure consistent positioning, messaging, and market credibility across all channels
- Support Sales with customer-facing materials and enablement content
Digital Presence & Social Media
- Own Gideon’s social media presence with a focus on thought leadership, credibility, and visibility
- Oversee website updates, landing pages, and conversion paths in partnership with Demand Gen and RevOps
- Ensure all campaigns have clear CTAs and measurable outcomes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales to align messaging, ICP focus, and campaign priorities
- Partner with Product on content related to launches, roadmap themes, and market positioning
- Collaborate with RevOps to ensure marketing performance is measurable and actionable
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
- Marketing is a predictable source of qualified pipeline, not just awareness
- MQL → SQL conversion improves quarter over quarter
- Events and campaigns show clear, measurable pipeline impact
- Sales and BDRs view Marketing as a true revenue partner
Your area of expertise:
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience (industrial, robotics, or automation preferred but not required)
- Experience owning or contributing to pipeline, MQL, or revenue-related targets
- Strong content judgment and ability to simplify complex technical topics
- Experience working closely with BDRs, Sales, and Revenue Operations
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools
- Comfortable operating hands-on in a fast-paced, scaling environment
