About the role
We’re looking for a self-starter with high energy and can-do attitude. A sales professional acts as a consultant to customers and is focused on making money, that’s obvious!
You will be responsible for winning complex sales opportunities by establishing value, qualifying prospects, building competitive preference, understanding the decision-making process across functions (innovation, operations, safety, continuous improvement, IT, financial, executive), selling to power, and organizing Gideon experts to participate in the sales process.
This is a remote position that requires 50-60% travel time, and the best candidates are located near Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, or Philadelphia.

Responsibilities we’ll trust you with:
- Responsibility for revenue generation with new and existing customers
- Developing trustful relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure their retention and growth
- Conducting market research to identify selling potential and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities
- Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their needs and concerns
- Preparing and delivering appropriate presentations on products and services
- Creating frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Representing the company and product portfolio in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiating/closing deals and handling complaints or objections
- Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Collaboration with other team members to achieve better results
- Gathering feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams
Your area of expertise:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant complex sales experience
- Strong interest in learning more about the robotics industry and understanding what drives the logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing industries, as well as how autonomous mobile robots can contribute to their success and overall productivity
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and customers
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Experience with structured sales, plans, budgets, pipeline management
- Experience in influencing behaviors for team members that you don't manage
- Strong communication skills, including presentation, professional writing, and negotiation
